Radiotip: Viny’l’isten

Ein kurzfristiger Radiotip für heute Abend ist die Ausstrahlung der Performance von Philip Jeck und Claus van Bebber Viny’l’isten (IV).

Mit der ersten Intermedium-Übertragung und dem Jeck-Stück Vinylcoda (I) wurde bei mir Ende der 90er das Interesse an experimenteller Musik befeuert und die Vorstellungskraft angeregt, wie denn eine größere Anzahl an Kofferplattenspielern mit modifizierten Schallplatten dieses Meer an Loops produzieren.

Im ZKM war es mir dann möglich dies in einer anderen Form live zu sehen, wie Philipp Jeck und Claus van Bebber, jeder auf ihre eigene Art, mit teils zerkratzten oder mittels eines Vorschlaghammers beschwerten Platten in sich stimmige Klänge komponierten. Anfangs in jeweils einzelnen Performances, in der Folge dann gemeinsam.

Heute Abend dann die Ausstrahlung der Aufzeichnung von 2002, auf Bayern 2 zwischen 21 und 23 Uhr.
